John Albert Gingras, 70, died April 17, 2013, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
He was born in Alboro, Mass., and lived in Vero Beach for many years, coming from St. Petersburg.
He was a missionary with Amazing Grace Mission in Dayton, Ind., and a member of First Baptist Church in Preston, Mo.
He attended Faith Baptist Church, Vero Beach, and Liberty Baptist Church, St. Petersburg.
He was a Navy veteran.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Donna Gingras, of Vero Beach; sons, Chandler Gingras, of Vero Beach and Sheldon Gringas, of Miami Beach; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, William and Ron Gingras.
Memorial contributions may be made to Amazing Grace Missions, P.O. Box 289, Dayton, IN 37321. Services will be at 2 p.m. April 21 at the Faith Baptist Church, Vero Beach.
