Jeffrey Alan Sewell, 49, died April 9, 2013, at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
He was born in Easton, Md., and lived in Florida for 30 years, coming from his birthplace.
He was a commercial fisherman.
Survivors include his sons, James “Jimi” Marshall Sewell, of Grant and Jeffrey Alan Sewell Jr., of Huntington, W.Va.; daughter, Danielle Sewell, of Bryson City, N.C.; mother, Phyllis Roode, of Fellsmere; stepfather, Bud Roode, of Fellsmere; father, James M. Sewell Jr., of Ravenel, S.C.; sisters, Sandra “Dee” Harrison, of Easton and Sarah Lou Ann Duncan, of Melbourne; brother, Kristopher Sewell, of Titusville; and two grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice House, 901 37th St., Vero Beach, FL 32960.
A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. April 16 at Seawinds Funeral Home Chapel in Sebastian, with a gathering from 6 to 7 p.m.
