Bertha V. Luttinger, 88, died April 7, 2013, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
She was born in Cambridge Springs, Pa., and lived in Vero Beach for 29 years, coming from Auburn, N.Y.
Before retirement, she worked for General Electric for 25 years.
She was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
Survivors include her son, Kenneth Friend, of Grass Valley, Calif.; and her sister Alice Whipple, of Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis John Luttinger.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon, with the funeral starting at noon April 12 at Cox-Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach.
Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce.
