Warren G. “Grumpsie” Cummings, 92, died April 26, 2013, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
He was a native of Hartford, Conn., and came to the Sebastian area from Miami in 1988.
He was a veteran, having served in the Seabees. He was a civil engineer and worked in construction.
He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Fellsmere.
He enjoyed dancing, cooking, gardening and telling jokes.
Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Margaretta; son: Warren G. Cummings Jr., of Edgewood, Md.; daughter, Margaretta A. Kilgore, of Boynton Beach; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. April 29 in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Friends may call at the church from 1 p.m. until time of service.
Interment will be in Fountainhead Memorial Park. Fountainhead Funeral Home, Palm Bay, is in charge of arrangements.
