Stefanie Rita De Mayo, 86, died April 13, 2013, at the VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.
She was born in New York City and lived in Vero Beach for eight years, coming from Port St. Lucie.
She had worked in retail sales for Gimbels in Yonkers, N.Y., and retired from Montgomery Ward.
Survivors include her son, Eugene Victor De Mayo Sr., of Olive Bridge, N.Y.; daughter, Marianne Fortune Mackson, of Port St. Lucie; brother, Joseph Maggio, of Mahopac, N.Y.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor E. De Mayo.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to noon April 19 at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach, with a Mass of Christian burial celebrated at 1 p.m. at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church.
Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens at a later date.
