Ronald D. Ranney, 67, Vero Beach

Ronald D. Ranney, 67, died March 16, 2013, at his home.

He was born in Auburn, Ind., and lived in Vero Beach for 35 years, coming from Indiana.

He owned American Cylinder Head Exchange Service in Vero Beach.

He was a member of the Vero Beach Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite Bodies and was a 32nd Degree Mason and a Shriner.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Louise Ranney, of Vero Beach; son, Greg Ranney, of Fort Wayne, Ind.; daughters, Kim VanKamp, of Fort Wayne, Stephanie Roth, of Cincinnati, Ohio, Monica Hutchinson, of Tampa, Tami Gay, of Vero Beach and Wendy Battis, of Fort Pierce, two brothers; one sister; 17 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, Office of Development, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. March 22 at Strunk Funeral Home in Vero Beach.

A celebration of life memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m. March 23 at the funeral home followed by a reception.
