INDIAN RIVER COUNTY – The northbound and southbound lanes of Interstate 95 five miles south of Exit 147 in Vero Beach have now reopened after being closed due to a brush fire.
During the closure, drivers were diverted off the interstate.
The brush fire is located on the west side of I-95 and winds are blowing the smoke across the highway, limiting visibility.
The Florida Forest Service is working to contain the fire along with Indian River County Fire Rescue.
