Maureen K. Lureau, 72, died March 4, 2013, at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
She was born in Chicago and lived in Vero Beach for 21 years, coming from Detroit.
Before retirement she worked as a medical assistant for 15 years.
She was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
Following her retirement she volunteered her time at St. Helen.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Thomas John Lureau, of Vero Beach; son, Kevin Lureau, of Vero Beach; daughters, Lisa Lureau, of Vero Beach and Renee Lureau, of Pensacola; sisters, Sheila Meyer, of Tomahawk, Wis., and Patricia Marrazz, of Hemet, Calif.; brothers, Terry Sullivan, of Vero Beach and Edward Sullivan, of McHenry, Ill.; and two grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Helen Catholic Church, 2085 Tallahassee Ave., Vero Beach, FL 32960.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m., with a prayer service at 5:30 p.m., March 10 at the Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory in Vero Beach.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. March 11 at St. Helen Catholic Church with the Rev. Antony Pulikal officiating.
Burial will follow in Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach.
