A fun evening to benefit education in Haiti

VERO BEACH — On Friday, March 8, at 5:30 p.m., Haiti Partners, a Vero Beach based nonprofit, will host an evening of celebration and education at The Northern Trust Bank, 755 Beachland Blvd. in Vero Beach.

The evening will feature opportunities to celebrate your taste buds and your inner art and music critic while doing good in the world. Tickets are $100, and the proceeds will support education in Haiti.

It begins with food and wine pairings, continues to live and silent auctions, and culminates in a musical presentation. The evening includes full education for all your senses.

The focus of the evening will be meaningful fun and friendship, food and wine, art and music; all to benefit education in Haiti. A brief presentation of Haiti Partners will be made by co-directors Kent Annan (Vero Beach resident and author of two books) and John Engle (Vero Beach resident whose family has relocated to Haiti since the 2010 earthquake.)

Haiti Partners is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization committed to helping Haitians change Haiti through education. We work with schools, churches, and organizations to transform communities.

Haiti Partners educates more than 1,200 children in 7 primary schools, and 25 young church leaders have been given scholarships to attend seminary while they work with our church’s program to promote children’s rights in hundreds of churches each year.
