Elsie J. “Jody” Martinez, 72, died Jan. 30, 2013, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
She was born in Miami and lived in Sebastian for 15 years and in Vero Beach for the past two years.
She worked for Tastee-Freeze and Vi’s Surf & Turf, Sebastian, for many years.
Survivors include her sons, Dean Martinez and Joseph Martinez; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Mildred Martin and Doris Curry; and a grandson.
Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. Feb. 6 at Strunk Funeral Home in Vero Beach.
Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will be in Dade Memorial Park in Miami.
