Henrietta McCleary, 97, died Feb. 12, 2013, at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
She was born in Bronx, N.Y., and moved to Vero Beach in 1972, coming from Danbury, Conn.
She was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach where she served as the cook until her retirement.
She was also a member of the St. Helen’s Women’s Club, Omas Lee Club, Italian-American Club, Moose Lodge Auxiliary and AMVETS Auxiliary.
Survivors include her sons, James McCleary, of Hoschton, Ga., and Dennis McCleary, of Vero Beach; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband James McCleary Sr.; daughter, Lorie McCleary; and siblings, Viola Guzzetta, Alfred Rapetti, John Rapetti and Ann Cristenello.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 14 at Strunk Funeral Home in Vero Beach, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at noon Feb. 15 at St. Helen Catholic Church.
Entombment will follow at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Fort Pierce.
