Willie James Pierce Jr., 45, died Feb. 22, 2013, in Fort Pierce.
He was born in Vero Beach and was a lifelong resident.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Ruby L. and the Rev. Willie Lockhart, both of Vero Beach; father, Willie J. Pierce Jr., of Vero Beach; brothers, Jeremiah Pierce, Fabian Pierce Sr., Victor Pierce, Edmund Pierce, Jeremiah Lockhart and Christopher Lockhart, all of Vero Beach, Daniel Lockhart, of Fort Pierce, and Keith Pierce, of Newnan, Ga.; and sisters, Taylor Pierce, of Blackburg, Va., Cassandra Thomas, of Dade City, Kimberly Humphrey, of Melbourne, Sharonda Pierce, of Orlando, Ranada Pierce, of Palm Bay, and Vanessa Rogers, Andrea Lockhart and April Narissa, all of Vero Beach.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. March 1 at Alpha and Omega Christian Ministries in Vero Beach.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. March 2 at St. Peter’s Missionary Baptist Church in Vero Beach.
Burial will be held in Gifford Cemetery.
