Bobby “Shark” Shelly Jr., 49, died Feb. 20, 2013, in Vero Beach.
He was born in Vero Beach and was a lifelong resident.
Survivors include his mother, Martha S. Newsome, of Vero Beach; sons, Bobby Lee Shelly III and Michael J. Reed, both of Fort Pierce, and Willie Shelly and Bradley Shelly, both of Vero Beach; daughter, Tomekia Blackmon, of Vero Beach; brothers, George Sneed, Caledonia, Miss., Bobby Sneed, of Alabama and Bobby Bryant, of Orlando; sisters, Bobby Jean Williams, of Vero Beach, Barbara Hollis, of Caledonia, Brenda Saintelus, of Fort Pierce and Bonnie Brunice, of Orlando; and 13 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. March 1 at Hortense/Mills Memorial Funeral Home in Vero Beach.
Services will be at 2 p.m. March 2 at Humble Church of the Living God in Christ in Vero Beach.
Burial will follow at Gifford Cemetery.
