The Rev. Dr. Arnold F. Keller, 88, Vero Beach

The Rev. Dr. Arnold F. Keller, 88, died Feb. 16, 2013, at Atlantic Healthcare Center in Vero Beach.

He was born in Utica, N.Y., and retired to Grand Harbor in Vero Beach in 1997, coming from Bethesda, Md.

He was an ordained minister, serving 32 years at the Lutheran Church of the Reformation, Washington, D.C., and 14 years at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Allentown, Pa.

He attended Our Savior Lutheran Church.

He was a member of the advisory committee of the Lifelong Learning Institute of Indian River State College and a board member of the Samaritan Center for the Homeless.

He graduated from Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y.

He also received an honorary doctorate from Muhlenberg College in Allentown.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Margaret Keller of Vero Beach; sons, Dr. Jonathan Keller of Frederick, Md., and Arnold F. Keller III of Perry Hall, Md.; daughters, Anne K. Jones of San Anselmo, Calif., and Margaret K. O’Bryon of Bethesda, Md.; and seven grandchildren.
