Greer Nadeen Maeder, 68, died Jan. 16, 2013, at her home.
She was born in Port Jefferson, N.Y., and lived in Vero Beach 10 years, coming from Hollywood.
She taught in the Broward County School System before her retirement.
She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida and master’s degree from Southern Methodist University.
She was a member of St. Augustine of Canterbury Episcopal Church in Vero Beach.
She was a member of the Theatre Guild and Order of the Eastern Star in Hollywood and AAUW.
Survivors include her mother, Arleen Krajaicek, of Vero Beach.

A graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 4 at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach.
