Vera Joan Carpenter, 80, died Jan. 18, 2013, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
She lived in Vero Beach for 26 years, coming from Berea, Ky.
She was a dishwasher at Ohio State University.
Survivors include her sisters, Ruth Ann Couch, of Vero Beach and Mary C. Hathaway, of Lake City; brothers, Jack Carpenter, of Cambridge, Ohio, and Dent Carpenter, of Missouri.
No services are planned at this time.
Interment will take place in Northwood Cemetery in Cambridge, Ohio.
Arrangements are by Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach.
