Hazel L. Evans, 81, died Dec. 27, 2012, at home.
She was born in Manchester, Jamaica, and lived in Indian River County since 1994, coming from Bronx, N.Y.
She was retired from the health care business.
She was a member of First United Pentecostal Church, Vero Beach.
Survivors include her husband, Lionel Evans, of Vero Beach; son, Derick Lyn, of New Jersey; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Jan. 2 at Stone Brothers Funeral Chapel, Vero Beach.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Jan. 3 at First United Pentecostal Church, Vero Beach.
Entombment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
