Janice H. Leidy, 85, died Dec. 29, 2012, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
She was born in Philadelphia and lived in Vero Beach for 11 years, coming from Stuart.
She worked for Sun Oil Co. Inc. as personal stenographer to the administrative assistant of the public relations department.
She attended Gettysburg, Pa., College and was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority.
She was a Cub Scout den mother and volunteer with the Girl Scouts and Brownies.
She was president of the Women’s Association of Trinity Lutheran Church in Manoa, Pa.; the SunOil Co. Toastmistress Club; and the Cooperstown Bowling League.
She was an active member of the Mission Council at Bryn Mawr, Pa., Presbyterian Church.
She was secretary for the Pan-Hellenic Association of Stuart.
Survivors include her son, R. Scott Leidy of Exton, Pa.; daughters, Linda S. Leidy of King of Prussia, Pa. and Kathleen Eichert of North Hutchinson Island; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell N. Leidy.

Private services will be held in Pennsylvania for the family and friends.
