Ronald Kauffman, 60, died Dec. 20, 2012, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
He was born in Elizabeth, N.J., and lived in Vero Beach for 56 years, coming from his birthplace.
He worked for Piper Aircraft for 44 years.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Kay Kauffman, of Vero Beach; sons, Jeffery Kauffman, of Vero Beach, Jason Kotte, of Winter Haven and Shane Hearndon, of Roseland; daughters, Katina and Jennifer Kauffman, both of Vero Beach; sister, Barbara Kotte, of St. Cloud; and four granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Nancy Kauffman.
A private celebration of life will be conducted at a later date.
