Robert C. Tyo, 94, died Dec. 14, 2012, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
He was born in Massena, N.Y., and moved to Vero Beach a year ago from The Villages.
He was an executive for Black and Decker and Porter Cable.
He was a graduate of the University of Alabama. He was a member of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, Vero Beach.
He was a member of the hospital board of the Jupiter Medical Center and a member of Tequesta Country Club.
Survivors include his daughter, Mary Ellen Heus, of Vero Beach.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Oakes Tyo.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Dec. 24 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, Vero Beach.
Arrangements are by Strunk Funeral Home and Crematory.
