VERO BEACH — Nurse on Call and Pointe West will honor local heroes with a First Annual Family Fun Day to benefit the Indian River County Honor Flight Program, a nonprofit organization created solely to honor American’s veterans.
The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13 at Pointe West, and features live music, food, a bounce house, games, face painting, and petting zoo.
100 percent of proceeds from food, raffles and T-shirt sales will be used towards transporting veterans to Washington D.C.
