Susan Schramm Malinos, 61, Vero Beach

Susan Schramm Malinos, 61, died Oct. 13, 2012, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.

She was born in Syracuse, N.Y., and lived in Vero Beach for 32 years, coming from Washington, D.C.

She was a graduate of Loyola University Maryland in 1974.

She worked for Starbucks as a barista in Vero Beach.

She was an adolescent substance abuse counselor with New Horizions in Vero Beach.

She attended St. Helen Catholic Church, Vero Beach.

She was a member of The Newport Club of Vero Beach.

Survivors include her husband, John Malinos, of Vero Beach; daughters, Elizabeth Dunbar and Amyleigh Long, both of Vero Beach; sons, Robert Parsons, of Melbourne and John E. Malinos and Mark A. Malinos, both of Montreal; sisters, Carol Christie, of Goffstown, N.H., and Barbara Hawkins, of Cockeysville, Md.; mother, Anne Schramm, of Vero Beach; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Schramm.

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Oct. 20 at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach, with a reception to follow at the church.
