Sebastian Chamber of Commerce welcomes new board members

SEBASTIAN — At the last Chamber luncheon at Captain Hiram’s, the Chamber installed newly elected board members: Kim Ellis, Kim Ellis Insurance, Cynthia Hall, Law Office of VandeVoorde, Hall and Sandi Gerhke, TD Bank.

The Chamber’s Officers for 2012/2013 Debbi Vickers, Scripps Treasure Coast Newspapers, Chair, Theresa Tolle, Bay Street Pharmacy, Vice Chair, Bob Daberkow, Southern Fulfillment Services, Treasurer and Sandi Gerhke, Secretary, were also sworn in.

Additionally, the Chair’s appointments to the Board include Chuck Mechling, Onsite Management, Captain Christy Lenz, Ali Qizalbish, Cemco Construction, Sue Tyson Parker, Christie Dental, and Patti Jamar, Park Place.

Margie Duffell, Past President of the Chamber, explained the duties and commitment of the board members at the luncheon and welcomed everybody to the organization.

The Sebastian River Area Chamber of Commerce was first organized in 1958 and serves the communities of Sebastian, Fellsmere, and unincorporated areas in Northern Indian River County, Grant, Barefoot Bay, Micco, and Little Hollywood in Southern Brevard County.

The Chamber is a pro-active member supported association of businesses, organizations, and individuals, united in their efforts to support a healthy business environment, promote business development, encourage growth of tourism, and use its collective strength to enhance the quality of life in the community.
