Manuel Mendoza, 89, died Oct. 27, 2012, at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
He was born in Mexico and lived in Vero Beach for five years, coming from Mexico.
Survivors include his daughters, Margarita Flores of Vero Beach, Deborah Bosquez of Atlanta, Ga., Maria Luisa Garcia of Waco, Texas, and Magdalena Gracia of Atlanta, Ga., sons, Jose Roberto Mendoza and Misael Mendoza, both of Houston, Texas, and Saul Mendoza of Mexico; two sisters; 21 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Juana Sanchez; and son, Isaias Mendoza.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice House, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
A visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. with a service at 2 p.m. Oct. 31 at Templo Cristiano Magdiel, Vero Beach.
Burial will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach.
Arrangements are by Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory in Vero Beach.
