Duane E. Reynolds, 92, died Oct. 20, 2012, at home.
He was born in Morgantown, W.Va., and lived in Vero Beach for 27 years, coming from Columbus, Ohio.
Before retirement, he was a conductor for the Pennsylvania Railroad in Columbus for 42 years.
He served in the Army Air Forces during World War II.
He was a member of Aladdin Shrine and the Reynoldsburg Lodge.
Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Doris Reynolds, of Vero Beach; son, John E. Reynolds, of Columbus; daughter, Beverly Zimmerman, of Vero Beach; sister, Margaret Welsh, of Columbus; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Duane E. Reynolds II, in 1997.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Oct. 27 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Vero Beach.
