Ireta F. Sauer, 85, died Sept. 1, 2012, at the VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.
She was born in Ravenswood, W.Va., and lived in Vero Beach for 11 years, coming from Lake Ashby.
Before retirement, she worked as a secretary for Rhom and Haas in Coral Gables for 25 years.
She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Immanuel Church of Vero Beach.
Survivors include her daughters, Linda Dixon, of Miami and Laraine Tappen, of Fort Pierce; sister, Dolores Woehrmann, of Cleveland Heights, Ohio; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Sept. 8 at Immanuel Church of Vero Beach, Vero Beach.
