Helen Lillian Forsyth, 103, died Sept. 1, 2012, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to Vero Beach 12 years ago from Jericho, N.Y.
Survivors include her companion, Sam Bassett, of Vero Beach; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Coral Tsegi.
A memorial gathering will take place at noon Sept. 15 at the Clubhouse of Vista Plantation, Vero Beach.
