Maurice Eugene Johnson, 53, died Sept. 10, 2012, at his home.
He was born in Hillsdale, Mich., and moved to Sebastian 18 years ago, coming from Vero Beach.
He was a security guard.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Wanda Johnson, of Sebastian; son, Mark Miller, of North Carolina; daughter, Brandy Jaruzel, of Michigan; mother, Dora Jane Dean, of Tennessee; brother, John Johnson, of Tennessee; sisters, Mary Johnson and Martha Lane, both of Tennessee; and one grandchild.
A gathering will be from 4 to 5 p.m. Sept. 14 at Seawinds Funeral Home Chapel, Sebastian.
A memorial service to follow at 5 p.m., with Rev. Dr. Ronald D. Thomas Sr. officiating.
