William J. Dunne, 82, died Aug. 31, 2012, at VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.
He was born in Bayside Queens, N.Y., and moved to Vero Beach many years ago, coming from Connecticut.
He served in the Navy during World War II and the Korean War.
He was a member of the Vero Beach Veterans Club and the Italian American Civic Association.

Survivors include his fiancee, Dee Marco of Vero Beach.
