INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — With the weather possibly being a factor this weekend we’re hoping it won’t be a wash for all the outdoor events.
Friday come out to Vero Beach for their First Friday Gallery Stroll.
Saturday is set to bring us airboats and rodeo in Fellsmere to butterflies and babies in the rest of the county. Kittens will also be at Petco to round out your weekend.
Friday:
5-8 p.m. – First Friday Gallery Stroll, The Arts District in Downtown Vero Beach (14th Ave. and beyond).
Saturday:
9 a.m. – 6 p.m. – Airboat Show and Swap Meet in Fellsmere in front of the Old Fellsmere School.
10 a.m. – Grand Opening of the LaPorte Farms Butterfly House, 7700 129th St. Sebastian, Florida.
10 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Baby Palooza at the Indian River County Mall, car seat safety checks from 10-12 in the north parking lot.
4 p.m. – Coastal Community Church Gas buy-down, donations from both its congregation and the community at large to provide gas at 50 cents less than the day’s current price. Location: Shark Mart Mobil at the corner of County Roads 510 and 512 in Sebastian
5 p.m. – Steven Mauldin Memorial Youth Rodeo Buckle Series, at the Fellsmere Riding Club
Saturday/Sunday
11:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. – Name your own price kitten adoption at Petco in Vero Beach.
