Kenneth Albert Marvin, 85, Vero Beach

Kenneth Albert Marvin, 85, died Sept. 16, 2012, at Willow Brooke Court, Vero Beach.

He was born in Bridgeport, Conn., and lived in Vero Beach for nine years, coming from Sebring.

He retired from the Broward County School System as an internal auditor.

He served in the Army Air Forces during World War II.

He was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church, Vero Beach.

Survivors include his wife, Marilyn “Lyn”; daughters, Janet Nelson and Amy Markham; stepchildren, Tom Foertmeyer, Patricia Lanni and Ronald Foertmeyer; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Memorial contributions may be made to Westminster Church Student Music Fund at 2555 58th Ave., Vero Beach, FL 32966.

A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 24 at Indian River Estates West Chapel.

Inurnment will be on Sept. 25 at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth with military honors present.
