Genell Cliett, 83, died July 25, 2012, at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
She was born in Wrightsville, Ga., and lived in Vero Beach for 55 years, coming from Tennille, Ga.
Before retirement, she was a homemaker and private housekeeper for many years.
She pastored at Mount Zion New Covenant Ministries for seven years, before returning to her home church Principals of Kingdom Living (formerly the Church of Jesus Christ Apostles of Faith) where she had been a member for 40 years.
Survivors include her son, Ronald Wright, of Kankakee, Ill., 16 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alphonzo.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 2, with a celebration of life service at 11 a.m. Aug. 3, at Aycock Funeral Home in Fort Pierce.
Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce.
