Marjorie Allen Bucher, 101, died July 24, 2012, at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
She was born in Gloucester, England, and lived in Vero Beach since 2001.
She moved to the U.S. from England in 1939.
In Britain, she was an actress, playing roles in light opera and dramatic theatrical productions.
She also belonged to the Vic-Wells School of Ballet in London.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John (Jack) Bucher, and her daughter, Jacqueline Bucher West.

A private service is planned.
