Jean M. Romano, 82, died Aug. 8, 2012, at the Lynmoore at Lawnwood Assisted Living Facility in Fort Pierce.
She was born in Bridgeport, Conn., and lived Vero Beach since 1980, coming from Milford, Conn.
Before retirement, she worked as an inspector for the Bic Pen Corp. in Milford for 25 years.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion in Vero Beach.
She was a toll painting instructor in Vero Beach.
Survivors include her sons, Marty Romano and Alan Romano, both of Vero Beach; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Romano; and sons, Nicholas Romano Jr. and Vincent Romano.
Visitation will be from 3 to 4 p.m., with a service starting at 4 p.m., Aug. 13 at the Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory in Vero Beach.
