Alice E. Ferguson, 84, died July 28, 2012, at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
She was born in East Liverpool, Ohio, and lived in Vero Beach for 27 years, coming from her birthplace.
Before her retirement she worked for O.S. Hill and Co. as an inventory control clerk for 19 years.
She volunteered for the American Red Cross.
Survivors include her son, William R. Ferguson; daughters, Marianne Bennett and Caitlyn Weaver, all of Vero Beach; brother, Jerry D. Leigh, of Jacksonville; sister, Teresa Durling, of Vero Beach; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, William B. Ferguson; and daughter, Nancy Yabarra.

Private family services are being planned.
