Patrick “Putt” Harmon Braz, 43, Sebastian

Patrick “Putt” Harmon Braz, 43, died June 6, 2012, at his home.

He was born in Boca Raton and lived in Sebastian for 22 years, coming from Alberton, Mont.

He attended schools in Boca Raton, Okeechobee and Sebastian, as well as Jackson Hole, Wyo.

He owned and operated the Riveredge Resort and Casino in Alberton.

He was in the mattress business in Sebastian, as well as a foreman air boat operator in the Everglades for a field crew.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Connie Braz Hill and James H. Hill, of Soldotna, Alaska; brother, Fritz Braz, of Marco Island; half sisters, Darci A. Braz, of Stuart and Dawn “Dee Dee” Braz, of Port Charlotte; and stepbrothers, James H. Hill Jr., of Cudjoe Key and Cory J. Hill, of St. Louis.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Braz.

A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. June 16 at Mulligan’s Beach House in Sebastian.
