Paul Kevin Parks, 57, died June 18, 2012.
He was born in Colon, Republic of Panama and was raised in the Canal Zone, graduating from Balboa High School in 1973.
Before retirement, he spent 11 years as a maintenance director for retirement communities in Arizona and Florida.
Previously he apprenticed in the air conditioning and refrigeration division of the Panama Canal Co. and spent 20 years working for the industrial unit at the Chill Water Plant in Balboa, Canal Zone.
Following his return to the United States he worked for various HVAC companies.
Survivors include his son, Brett Anthony Phillips, of Trenton, N.J.; mother, Anne M. Parks, of Phoenix, Ariz.; brothers, James Parks, of Port St. Lucie, Larry Parks, of Phoenix, Matthew Parks, of Mesa, Ariz., and Charles Parks, of St. Paul Park, Minn.; and sisters, Lisa Boatwright, of Phoenix and Susan Casis of Port St. Lucie.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Arthur Parks.

Burial will be at a later date at Sunland Memorial Cemetery in Sun City, Ariz.
