Charles Joseph McKenna Jr., 83, died May 2, 2012, at The Place at Vero Beach.
He was born in Providence, R.I., and lived in Sebastian for 10 years, coming from Rhode Island.
He worked as a merchant mariner and retired as a master engineer.
He attended St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Sebastian.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy McKenna; daughters, Leslie McKenna, Johnsie McKenna, Barbara Latham and Martha Pugliese; son, Michael McKenna; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Marilyn McKenna.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA/Hospice House at 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
Services will be at a later date.
