Shirley V. O’Connell, 85, died May 9, 2012, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
She was born in Montreal and lived in Vero Beach since 1991, coming from Bowie, Md.
Before retirement, she worked as a loan officer for American Security & Trust in Washington, DC.
She was of the Protestant faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett O’Connell, and her brother, Buddy Hannah.
