Charles E. Turner, 88, died March 31, 2012, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
He was born in Greenfield, Mass., and moved to Sebastian 26 years ago from Swanzey, N.H.
He was a printer and proof reader for the Keene Evening Sentinel and worked as an auto-mechanic.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army and was a member of the American Legion of Sebastian.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Flora Turner, of Sebastian; daughter, Candace Hague, of Winchester, N.H.; sons, Dean Turner and Randall Turner, both of Swanzey, and Jon Turner, of Vero Beach; stepdaughter, Gale Clark, of Bradenton; stepson, Francis Bishop of Vero Beach; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

No services are planned locally.
A memorial service will take place in Swanzey at a later date.
