Janet Elliott Daugherty, 89, died Feb. 21, 2012.
She was born in Pittsburgh and lived in Vero Beach since 1975.
She was active in many charitable organizations.
She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Alfred Clark Daugherty; daughter, Christine Adams Johnson, of Vero Beach; and two grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
A private family service will be conducted, with a reception at a later date.
