VERO BEACH — The Vero Beach High School presents a “Tribute to Country Legends” performed by The Country Legends Band on Saturday, March 10, at 7:30 p.m. in the VBHS Performing Arts Center at 1707 16th St., Vero Beach.
This concert is a fun-filled evening featuring the music of Roger Miller, Conway Twitty, Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Sr., Marty Robbins, Patsy Cline, and many more of the greatest country music legends. Complete with pedal-steel and fiddle, this show is full of the best sounds of country music.
The Legends are composed of six high quality, high energy musicians with more than 50 years of combined musical performances. Originally from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, Tammy Paoletti, who sings lead female vocals in the band, has been singing rock, blues, and country since first stepping in front of a microphone in 1991.
Her original band played venues throughout Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia, including Rainbow Road, where a portion of the movie about the life of Patsy Cline, “Sweet Dreams,” was filmed.
“Her rich voice brings to mind artists like Linda Ronstadt, Patsy Cline, and Bonnie Rait,” says Kimberly Stone of The Beachside Resident.
Tickets are only $15 for adults and $12 for children/seniors. Proceeds go to benefit VBHS Athletics. For tickets, please call the VBHS Box Office at (772) 564-5537. Seating is general admission. Visa and MasterCard are accepted. Visit www.CountryLegendsBand.com for more information.
