VERO BEACH — During its February board meeting, the Land Trust welcomed four new advisors and five new directors, increasing the amount of community leaders involved within the organization.
The Indian River Land Trust directors and advisors amass extensive experience in fields such as real estate, business law, finance, marketing, and manufacturing bringing an array of talents to the Board. Moreover, all currently serve or have served in non-profit philanthropic endeavors at a national level.
Those elected to the position of director include Vero Beach residents Carolyn H. Antenen, William Beardslee, Gena K. Grove, Christopher H. Marine, and Myra Zilahy.
New advisors to the board include William C. Buck, Elizabeth A. Gillick, W. Jay Kirby, and Sheila Marshall.
Committed to preserving the natural resources of Indian River County, the new members will remain steadfast in the acquisition and protection of future lagoon front property.
Established in 1990, The Indian River Land Trust is dedicated to promote the preservation, conservation, and improvement of natural resources and special places in Indian River County, Florida for the benefit of the general public and future generations.
