My Mother
My mother, my light, my love, my best friend, my hero, my angel.
My mother is the mist of rain on a sunny day that brings out the rainbow and waters the flower.
My mother is the fury on the wind in the hurricane knocking on heaven’s door saying “Get ready God, I hear you calling out to me and I am coming home.”
My mother is in the millions of drops of rain that fall from the sky. Each drop containing her unconditional love.
My mother is the brightness of each sunrise, bringing the smile of a new day. She is the sunshine after the storm awaking creation from its slumber.
My mother is the butterfly that kisses the flowers, the hummingbirds that dance around, taking flight with the wind as the air meets their wings.
My mother is in each and every last star in the sky that wraps a blanket of love and protection around us with their twinkle and twilight.
My mother is the most beautiful creature to ever walk in this lifetime and into the next.
My mother is the bravest, most inspirational woman I have had the privilege of knowing . Her determination and strength is that of a thousand Mohamad Ali knockout punches and every great warrior ever known to man.
My mother is the sincerity of a genuine smile from a stranger after a random act of kindness. She is the wisdom and knowledge that whispers on a light breeze that gently kisses your forehead.
My mother, my light, my love, my best friend, my hero, my angel.
I will love you with every ounce of my very being. I will carry your memory with me every day. Always and forever mom. Always and forever.
