Zinaida I. Olkhovskaia, 78, died Dec. 29, 2011, at Consulate Health Care of Vero Beach.
She was born in Leningrad (St. Petersburg), Russia, coming to Vero Beach seven years ago from Cedar Falls, Iowa.
She worked as an interpreter for tourist agency “Intourist” in St. Petersburg, Russia.
She was a member of the Russian Orthodox Church.
She earned her master’s degree at the University of Leningrad.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Anatoly Brisker, of Vero Beach, son, Maxim Brisker, of Lugano, Switzerland; daughter, Alla Kramer, of Vero Beach; and two grandchildren.
