Jeanette Conquest, 90, died Dec. 3, 2011, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
She was born in Muncie, Ind., and lived in Vero Beach since 1986.
Before retirement, she and her husband owned a grocery and an insurance agency.
She served many years on the Republican Executive Board of Indian River County.
She also served on the board of the Republican Women’s Club, Association of Professional Insurance Women and Business and Professional Women.
She attended Asbury Methodist Church in Vero Beach.
Survivors include her daughter, Judith Robertson, of Vero Beach; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Conquest.
A celebration of life service will be at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 28 at Asbury United Methodist Church, Vero Beach.
