James Edward O’Connell, of Sebastian, died Dec. 8, 2011.
Survivors include wife Eileen B. O’Connell; son Timothy O’Connell; daughter JoAnne Holl; grandson of Billy, T.J., Christopher and Noreen; and daughter-in-law Cindy O’Connell and son-in-lawWilliam Holl.
O’Connell was a proud United States Air Force veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict.
Reposing at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons West Islip Funeral Home 1225 Montauk Hwy., (1/4 mile west of the Robert Moses Cswy.). Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian
Burial will take place Monday at 9:45 a.m. at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, Babylon, L.I.
Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, LI.
Visiting will take place Sunday at 2 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. until 9 p.m.
