Marine Bank accepting donations for Samaritan Center

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Marine Bank & Trust Co. is accepting donations for the Samaritan Center in December through Dec. 22 at both of its Vero Beach locations.

Requested items for residents include clothing and shoes, toys and food. Additional specific items needed by the Center are cleaning products, garbage bags, tools, paper goods, diapers, hygiene products and gift cards to Lowe’s, Home Depot, Publix, Wal-mart, and Klub-Kar are also welcome.

Items may be dropped off at Marine Bank’s two Vero Beach locations: 1450 U.S. 1 on the mainland and at 571 Beachland Blvd. on the barrier island. For more information about the drive at the bank, contact Branch Manager Denise Finizio at (772) 316-1267.

The Samaritan Center, a program of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Palm Beach, provides help for local homeless families and is primarily funded by private donations. For more information about the Center, contact Program Administrator Tracey Segal at (772) 770-2900.
