Lucille K. Ehring, 93, died Dec. 26, 2011, at The Place of Vero Beach.
She was born in Baltimore and lived in Vero Beach for five years, coming from Eastchester, N.Y.
During World War II, she worked for Glenn L. Martin Aircraft Corp.
She co-owned “Ehrings,” the family restaurant in New York City until her retirement in 1988.
She graduated from the University of Maryland.
She was of Lutheran faith and served as a Girl Scout leader for 10 years along with serving as a Girl Scout board member.
Survivors include her son, Edward L. Ehring, of Vero Beach; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Ehring and daughter, Christine Ehring.

A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Dec. 28 at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home, Vero Beach.
