VERO BEACH — Dancing with Vero’s Stars is a mere three months away, and while dancers are rehearsing, picking out costumes and raising funds for the IRC Healthy Start Coalition, the planning committee is busy preparing all of the aspects for this exciting, entertaining evening.
Dancing with Vero’s Stars will take place on the evening of Saturday, March 10 at the Waxlax Center at Saint Edward’s School, 1895 Saint Edward’s Drive in Vero Beach.
Thanks to talented graphic artist Amanda Robinson, owner of Squared Studios in Vero Beach, an event website, www.dancingwithverostars.com in now operative.
Visit the website to vote for your favorite star dancer, donate to the benefitting organization and purchase tickets to the event itself.
Additionally, items in a silent auction, which will be held during the evening’s pre-event cocktail hour and show’s intermission, intermission, will soon be listed on the website, and bids will be accepted.
All payments can easily be made online and, by checking a box, your credit card information will be retained for future bidding, voting and ticket purchase.
According to Robinson and Rebecca Russell-Goote of Healthy Start, “We have worked hard to streamline this year’s event to make it as easy as step one, two, click to vote for your favorite star dancer and to help mom’s and babies in Indian River county have a Healthy Start.”
From the home page, click the “Buy Tickets” tab. Fill out the form and credit your favorite star dancer by hitting the drop down list next to the word “Votes.” Or, from the homepage hit the “Star Dancer” tab on the top to access the Star Dancer page.
Click on your favorite star dancer photo and on the bottom of that page you may click a tab to either “Donate” or “Buy Tickets.” Your favorite star dancer will be credited with that transaction.
During the evening’s pre-event cocktail hour and show’s intermission, there will be two additional fundraising opportunities. You can purchase roses for your favorite star dancer at $10 each or purchase champagne for $25 a glass with the hope of winning a diamond bracelet valued over $1,000 courtesy of John Michael Matthews Fine Jewelry. You can also make either or both of these purchases online.
The IRC Healthy Start Coalition develops, evaluates and funds a full spectrum of services to support pregnant women’s health, baby’s health and families parenting young children.
